Booking and Cancellation Policy
How bookings are confirmed, what rescheduling costs (usually nothing), and how cancellations and refunds work.
1. How a Booking Is Confirmed
- After the survey, you receive a written, itemised quotation valid for the period stated on it.
- Your booking is confirmed when you approve the quotation and pay the booking advance stated on it. The advance reserves your crew, vehicle, and date.
- You receive a booking confirmation by WhatsApp or email listing the date, addresses, services, and amounts.
2. Rescheduling
- More than 48 hours before the move: one reschedule is free. Pick a new date and the booking simply shifts, subject to crew availability.
- Within 48 hours of the move: we try to accommodate at no charge. If the crew and vehicle are already committed and cannot be reassigned, a rebooking charge applies — told to you before you decide, never discovered on the bill.
- Additional reschedules beyond the first are handled case by case; frequent shifts may require re-confirmation of the quotation if costs have changed.
3. Cancellation by You
- More than 48 hours before the move: full refund of the booking advance.
- Within 48 hours of the move: a deduction covers costs already committed — crew scheduling and vehicle reservation — and the balance of the advance is refunded.
- After the crew has arrived or packing has begun: charges apply for work performed and materials used, per the quotation rates; any remaining advance is refunded.
The exact advance amount and any applicable deduction percentages appear in writing on your quotation before you pay anything. The quotation figures are the binding ones.
4. Cancellation or Change by Us
If we must cancel or move your date — vehicle breakdown, crew emergency, or conditions that make the move unsafe — we tell you at the earliest possible moment and offer the next available date at the same price. If the revised date does not work for you, the advance is refunded in full, without deductions.
5. Refund Processing
- Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the advance — UPI or bank transfer.
- Refunds are initiated within 7 working days of the cancellation being confirmed and typically reflect in your account within 7–10 working days after initiation, depending on your bank.
- A refund confirmation with the transaction reference is shared with you by WhatsApp or email.
6. Storage Bookings
Storage terms run weekly or monthly as booked. Cancelling before intake follows the same 48-hour rules above. Ending storage early after intake: charges apply for the completed storage period plus handling; unused full periods already paid are refunded.
